Beef's is a pretty standard place. It is a misnomer to call it a "sports bar" since it is not really a bar. It is very family friendly, and we take our four kids there frequently. It has standard American sports bar kind of food, featuring Buffalo Wings, but there are burgers and other sandwiches, salads, and even a few seafood items. Service is friendly and usually pretty good, but may get a little slow when things get busy. There is a small game room and lots of TV's all around the dining room.
This is part of a chain, and they do the basics pretty well. It is one of the better family-friendly restaurants in the area, so we often go.
