Walking in to the Ballet Cafe for the first time is quite an experience. It is so quaint with it's five small dining rooms all containing ballet paraphernalia. We had a lovely table on the front porch (enclosed)with a view of the lush garden outside. Some vines are even growing in through the windows. Our waitress approached and asked what we would like to drink. No alcoholic beverages but you can bring your own wine. They have a little bit of almost everything on their menu and they had a special for the evening. The special was a Cajun Fish Medley which consisted of Grouper,Salmon, Mahi Mahi and Wahoo sauteed with peppers, onions and tomato's, served with fresh vegetables, egg noodles or rice and soup or salad. It was very good and so was the Lemon Breast of Chicken that my dinner guest choose. I had the salad which contained very fresh greens of Romaine and Green Leaf, alfalfa sprouts, black olives, tomato, onion and home made croutons. My guest had the New England Clam Chowder which he thought was the best he had ever eaten. All in all we were very pleased with everything including the soothing music in the background. And the prices made it all worthwhile. I have never seen cleaner restrooms in a restaurant. We will visit again and soon. Thank you Chef Andrew.
