This new restaurant is a little gem. The kitchen is way beyond my expectations for a little neighborhood place. The chef is one of the best in the state, and the owner has a superb wine celler. The medium prices do not at all reflect the high quality of the preparation and presentation. I have been back many times, and have recommended it to all my friends. The wine tastings on Thursdays offer excellent samples. The sparse decor is reminiscent of a typical old-country Italian home.

we celebrated a graduation dinner w/10 people on May 17th. Our waiter (Rick) was attentive and efficient while not being intrusive. Our table shared 5 different appetizers and 10 different dinners--everything was hot, flavorful and served w/a smile. (Risotto was very tasty, chicken fra diablo not dissapointing in the least. We ended w/cappucinos', coffee and an italian cookie platter. This is by far, the best authentic Italian food i've had since eating in my "nonnie's" kitchen !

Seven of us from an Italian language class met for a most delicious dinner at the end of our third set of classes together. The food was wonderful and the service excellent.
Our entrees ranged from seafood to veal to chicken and everyone was happy with their choices. We shared fried calamari and an insalata with meat and cheeses - both very tasty and were nicely prepared and presented. I enjoy the intimacy I feel in a small restaurant like Mona Lisa and it was nice to have the owner chat with us toward the end of the evening. I would definitely go again !
