On 12-17-18 at approximately 6:50 pm, I purchased food and a beverage from New York Fried Chicken carry out. After arriving home, I observed that a dead roach was stuck to the lid top of the soda. At 7:30 pm I returned to the food establishment to inform the manager on duty that a dead roach was stuck on the lid top of the soda and to get a refund on the food items. I also requested the name of the restaurant manager and was given the name Sam. I received a refund on the fund items and at no time did the manager on duty apologize for the dead roach being on the lid top of the soda. He acted in a manner as if he didn't really care. I did not return the soda because I wanted to keep it for evidence that the food establishment is infested with roaches. I was left feeling like what I experienced was common at this food establishment not only by the people who worked there but also by the customers that were waiting to order their food. This is totally unacceptable to me and I will never return to New York Fried Chicken or give them my business again.
