Their Pizza is always good quality with a distinctive, great sauce. Could be the friendliest phone answerers and delivery staff in the city. Very pleasant place to deal with and they serve great pizza. I lived near this place for 15 years (used to be Pizza Boli, but changed to Duccini's in the early 2000's, name changed, pizza and people and great attitude remained the same).

ample toppings great crust and nicely spiced sauce....fair price...calling them again 202.483.0007

they had some nice topping choices too...like feta cheese....spinach....broccoli...fresh tomatoes..

Best Delivery in DC written by butterstick

Honestly, there is no reason to order pizza delivery from anywhere else in the Adams Morgan/U St/Dupont area. Never had a bad experience, always had a good pizza. I'm from new york, and what they call "strombolis" are in fact what I grew up calling "calzones." Still, they are good calzones, if misleadingly named.

I never got a chance to try the pizza because the service is so bad. On the web site, they say their delivery radius is 3 miles, and I live a mile and a half away. I placed an order online, and 35 minutes later, they called to tell me they don't deliver east of 1st NW. I live a half-block from first street, but they would make no exceptions. I told them I'd walk to the corner of 1st st, and then they said, "We don't deliver past 3rd st." I offered to walk to 3rd st., and they said, "The pizza will be too cold," which makes no sense. And this was coming from the manager!

Two of the last three times I've ordered from this dump they have screwed up the order. In this most recent adventure it took 2 hours for the original order, which was wrong, to arrive. After calling I was assured that a new one would come in 15 minutes. Over an hour later the order had yet to arrive. I called back to ask about a refund or some sort of compensation and the guy on the phone said he was going to cancell my order and that I should never call them again. Rest assured I will never order from this awful place again.

When we ordered the pizza, they told us the pizza would be delivered in 30-35 minutes. After 45 minutes, we called and they said someone would be over in 9 minutes. After two more phone calls, several unanswered calls, the pizza delivery guy finally arrived. The box looked weathered, pizza definitely not hot, and he was only willing to give us $5 off for cold pizza and old salad that was 1 hour 45 minutes late. When we asked for a better deal, the pizza guy ran off in a hurry. We will never order from there again! How dare they compare themselves to NYC pizza. There isn't a DC pizza that could be as good as even the worst NYC pizza.

Two times now I have given Duccinis a chance and both times they have been disappointing.

Both time the pizza's were cold and they refused to send out a new one even though I was willing to pay for it. "No managers" on duty, and the employees are rude and don't give a sh*t about anything.

Duccini's has very good pizza, and I like not having to buy from a big chain like Pizza Hut or Pizza Bolis.

However...it's 50-50 whether your food will be delivered on time, hot, or with a complete order. My food once took an hour and 45 minutes. Twice they didn't bring my sodas (but it was still on the bill). Yet another time it was the wrong pizza.

Don't get me wrong, though, just as frequently everything is just fine (hence the 50-50 thing). And the pizza is great.

by far, this is the tastiest delivery pizza in DC. they have good sauce and good inrgredients. it's a little more than other delivery places, but well worth it.

Good food but terrible service written by cbw

Got a chicken parmesan sub instead of a chicken steak sub in my delivery order of $22. Three people passed the phone and kept me on hold for 10 mins as I waited to speak to a manager. Then was told "no manager" and a replacement would come in 20 mins, but at 11pm I realized it they lied. I met the manager today who was very apologetic. He credit my account and may have won my business. I left the carry-out with a smile and believing that their customer service will improve.

I took my wife and son there on a little excursion on our vacation trip to Washington DC. The wait stuff great. The pizza was great. It was to die for. You gotta try this place. I wish this was my neighborhood pizza place where I lived! Thanks for a great experience Duccinis!

Duccini's is the best Pizza in DC. If you do carry out, they give you a free soda. The guy who is there at night is really nice, don't know if he is the owner. The slices are more like NY pizza than the delivery but the delivery is still good. Great cheesesteaks and wings as well. High quality junk food, best in DC.

WARNING: (202) 483-8484 is the number for Pizza Boli. They suck. Food is awful.

On 7/18/05 we ordered a pizza @9:30, after phoning about it we still have not received it at 11:30 and we are only a few blocks from the place!
