This was our second visit and you have to like eclectic to really appreciate the place. Great selection of beers, food was very good. However, it was very cold inside the restaurant and I can't believe that the pipes didn't freeze in the bathroom! We had a coupon that we used and, if we got another coupon, I'd go back. I thought it was on the pricey side.

food wasn't bad, but the service was awful. we were there way before closing, and were not planning on staying after closing (I was a server and know how much that sucks). our waitress ignored us and then came, gave us the bill and forgot about us. we had our card in a minute after she dropped off the bill. then she sat in the booth 2 away and started complaining about us not leaving. not only was it rude, but completely her fault for not coming over to pick up the bill. we ended up having to flag her down, and when she realized her mistake she didn't even apologize, and was still very rude.

I had heard about this place when I attended MSU.
Several years later (1994) when I moved back to East Lansing, I had the opportunity to go here to eat.
What a disappointment.
The service was poor (slow non-caring) and the food (poor taste, no presentation) was not much better.
I liked looking at the stuff hanging on the walls; it took my mind off the awful experience.
