Back Door Lounge Great Hideaway written by

I unfortunately did not (and do not) go to the Back Door for dining. I've had some finger food and it was fine for what you would expect for a "lounge/diner." I go there quite often for the ambiance and bar selection. The place is truely a lounge, complete with piano and (local?) entertainers singing everything from Frank Sinatra to Billie Holiday. The dark wood panneling compliments the red velvet, which is everywhere. Situated in Old Sacramento, this is a great place to relax, listen to music with friends and enjoy a drink... or eat, if you're into that sort of thing :-)
