I am a New Mexico transplant an I have finally found great green chili here in mesa. The friendly lady at the window at the window said they took over August, 07. My wife loves the chicken burro called conni's favorite and my son loves the Carne. The monster burros are well worth the price. The name fits, it really is a shack, and we love it.
keep up the good work.

We have been searching for a good breakfast burrito for a long time. There green chili burrito with sausage, cheese egg and potato offers a much spicer alternative if you like some Jazz to your burritos. They are big enough to split. I have yet to eat a whole one by myself! Nice people serviceing you as well.

The chorizo burrito's where very week. Just figured they when to the neighborhood safeway and got the chorizo there. Plus the machaca burrito is no better. I will keep trying because I really want this place to work, but just don't know how it has stayed open. Did notice not many latinos eat there....

I have frequented this little gem, on and off over the last several years and have always enjoyed it. However, I believe that over the last few months it has changed hands and on my most recent visit the food was by far, the very Best I have had anywhere in Mesa. Everything is always fresh and so delicious. If you haven't tried it, I would recommend it highly. If you have, I would say that you should try it again... The lunch hour sometimes gets very busy, but it was worth the few minute wait.

The Burrito Shack is one of a kind. Most definitely worth the trip to try it out. One try however and you will be hooked. The food is incredible. The tortillas are fantastic and the green chile burrito is excellent. Stay clear of the lunch crowd however - it gets busy there from about 11 to 1.

The Burrito Shack is located on Power Rd, just south of Ray, just north of Williamsfield. The place looks like a rinky dinky abandoned house, or business, but once you stop in and try the food out you'll be impressed - at least I was. Very tasty, and workers there are always pleasant. It is definitely a hidden gem, that I now frequent often.
