I go here a lot and have never been disappointed with the food. Lunch time is the best time to go, quick service, and the food is always hot and delicious.
I had been wanting to try this place out and convinced my boyfriend to take me there one evening for dinner. I'm from Louisiana and quite familiar with "New Orleans Style" food. We ordered the Fried Pickles (these were good and prepared correctly) as an appetizer. Then I ordered an oyster poboy (the oysters were the size of a dime--pathetic!) and did not have much of a taste to it and a small bowl of red beans and rice (this was bean soup with rice...again PATHETIC!!). My boyfriend ordered a crawfish poboy and a small bowl of red beans and rice...(see previous comments on poboy and red beans & rice). The atomosphere sucked as did the so called jazz music that was trying to be duplicated. This was the most God awful experience in dining and food that I have ever experienced. Needless to say, I won't be returning there to WASTE my money and I will be spreading the word that their food is no where near the wonderful food you would get in New Orleans.
