  Benchwarmer's has always been a littly "divey" but the staff was friendly, the food was great, and the atmosphere was fun. At least a year ago it was. Now, its flat out just a creepy dive bar. The food is terrible, the staff is lazy (the bartenders even sit down while working), the place is disgustingly dirty, and the really loud drunk obnoxious customer is....the owner! I waited forever for drinks, the bartenders and waitress were all snotty, and it just felt overall slimy! Plus on a Friday night, it was TOTALLY dead.

  This place has gone down hill since the new owners took over and the place wasn't that good before they came. They fired all the good staff and the only people left are horrible. It looks rundown and old inside and the place in never busy anymore. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else, like garfields or famous sam's. The food was good until they fired the good cook. Now the food is just as crappy as everything else. Save your money and pass right by this place.

  My friends and I LOVE this place!! We have so much fun playing shuffle board and have been going there after work for years! All sorts of different types of people. Great tap selection! Food is good and they just upgraded the t.v.'s. A great place to catch the game. We'll see you there!

  The service was excellent. The staff was very nice and courtious. Being an older sports bar I was very surprised at how great the atmosphere and the food was. We will be back. I suggest the pork tenderloin sandwich or the wings. we go for football with all the college games or the NFL package (GO BEARS) we can always find our game.
