I have to say that house of lee is the best place to eat in Dumas. they have the best chinese food ever. the atmophere there is is really relaxing and clam. the servise is wonderful and like i sa9id the food is great. if you are ever in dumas you must go to house of lee.

I used to live about fifteen minutes away from Dumas, and I ate there often. The first time I went to House of Lee, I was a bit uncertain about eating at a Chinese restaurant that didn't have a buffet. As I walked in, I was greeted by Chek Lee, the owner, and was seated right away. He was very polite and took my order quickly. The place was packed, and he was the only person waiting tables. He also ran the cash register. Seems like it would take longer to get the food, right? He managed to get the food out in a short amount of time. I didn't hear anyone complaining about having to wait or anything like that. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it was different from what I was used to. The sauce had more of a robust, nutty flavor. It was really good, and he served plenty of it. The plates were only about six dollars each, but the food was piled high. It was like getting twice the food for half the price. He stopped by the tables quite often to make sure that the customers were taken care of. Once I finished my meal, I was stuffed. It was the best Chinese food I had ever eaten. I gave him a ten dollar tip, and told him how great the food, service, and atmosphere were. After that, I became a regular customer there. Mr. Lee is well-known and respected in that area, which is part of the reason why I believe so many people go there. They get to eat good Chinese food and receive the best service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I live in California, now, but every time I go back home to visit my family, I'm always sure to eat at House of Lee at least once during my visit.
