The Flying Fish is a terrific restaurant. I live on the Gulf Coast in Pensacola, Florida so I wasn't sure what kind of seafood I could get in a landlocked state, but it was awesome. The peel-n-eat shrimp tasted like they were just caught, the catfish was excellent, and the hush puppies the best north of Interstate 10!

I initially went here while on business in Little Rock because it was next to my hotel and it was one of few places open after 6pm. The food was outstanding, and I actually ate dinner there three times that week. The catfish is great, with a nice crispy, thin fried crust. The hush-puppies were also good. Friends raved about the grilled fish, sea-food gumbo, and tilapia dishes as well. This place was the highlight of my week in LR...sorry President Clinton...even better than your museum!!

Excellent way to eat fish. The menu selections are vast and include non-fishy items, for those not feeling like fish. They have talapia, salmon, shrimp, etc, etc, etc, cooked extra spicy or any way you like. Order at the counter and have a seat. Great food.
