Restaurant Reviews of Magdalena's Tea House

Birthday Party with 20 guests written by Deece

I used Magdalena's for a party in May 08 and can't say enough about it. Most of my guests are not vegan, or even vegetarian. No need to think you have to be one to enjoy the dishes Miko and her staff prepare. People I invited were very much impressed by the flavors and types of food they were able to order.

This is family friendly, senior friendly...not the least intimidating if you think this sounds a bit limited for your palate. Believe me it's not.

Raw Food Experience written by Healthe

Go to Magdalena's Tea House for a unique dining experience! All our food was prepared fresh from a board that you order from when you first walk in the door.

The atmosphere was laid back and filled with smiling faces to cater to our palates. The owner and chef, Miko, came to our table to explain the benefits of eating raw food. It was enlightening and enjoyable! She has a caring soul!

If you bring your whole family or a group, call ahead for reservations. There were 7 of us that went and we had a wonderful time enjoying an appetizer tray with a wonderful raw seed cheese spread, garlic stuffed olives with dehydrated crackers. Then each of us ordered entrees from the board. I order the Raw Spicy Taco wrapped in a collard green which was wonderful! And our finale was raw deserts which included truffles, halvah, cinnamon balls and carob fudge which were all to die for!

We left feeling "high" from the raw food experience and couldn't stop talking about the wonderful time we had at the restaurant. So, go and check out the organic Raw or Vegan Food at this little restaurant tucked away for a new experience!
