Last night was my 4th visit and I'll definitely go back. So far, I've had the Lasagna (excellent!), the Baked Ziti (very tasty!), and the Chicken Alfredo (pretty danged good -and I'm not really an Alfredo person). The Caffe Latte is the best I've ever had anywhere and I really wish they were open in the morning so I could stop by on my to work. I'm a big bread person and the homemade bread is good. I have say I do prefer Costa's; but it's definitely edible. My least favorite item is the salad, as I really prefer an Iceberg mix. That's just my personal taste though, and the house dressing is delicious. It's not a large place, homey atmosphere - can get rather loud when it's full, rather like you're in someone's dining room at home. The service has been great every time I've gone. Friendly, knowlegeable staff. Just a great place to go. It's my new favorite place! 8 )

Best Pizza in Birmingham written by jrf21

I have tried just about every pizza place in Bham and Giuseppe's pizza takes home the 1st place prize for me and my family!!! Finally a good pizza in Bham. You have got to try the pizza. It is loaded with toppings and has a really light and fresh crust!!! We will definitely be back soon!!

I felt like I ate at a friends house. written by Ozreale

Stepping in the door to Giuseppe's Cafe feels like stepping into the door of any little lunch stop in southside until you sit down and get a chance to take it all in. Then you notice the painting and the decor, simple which is really all you need. I felt like I ate at a friends house and I will go back to see them often.

The food was mediocre, not tasty at all. Even the bread was not tasty. The service was okay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. A friend of mine had the lasagna and enjoyed it. Another friend had the spaghetti and meatballs which was again just mediocre. The meatballs were tough. I will try it again. I want to have the pizza. It looked very good.
