  We've been to this restaurant several times, and have witnessed the service decline. Increasingly, dishes on the menu are not available. And the way in which the owner deals with food converns is just poor. Here is an example from our most recent experience: Our seafood tamarind soup came with catfish steak that was chewy and smelly. When we brought this to the kitchen's attention, the feedback was "we must have overcooked it, sorry". Later, when we discussed this matter with the owner, the story changed to "it's hard to get good fish in winter, sorry". At no point, did the staff or the kitchen offer to take back the dish, to offer a subsitute (there is a shrimp version of the tamarind soup on the menu), or offer even partial recompensation.
  
  Doubt we'll ever go back.
