  There is nothing we know like Bettola this side of Italy!
  Jim (owner and chef)"gets" the fact that TRUE Italian fare is simple - genuine, fresh everything, no heavy sauces,exquisite ingredients! And Jim should know. He has trained in Italy and uses the authentic D.O.C method for his Neopolitan Pizza. (But everything on the menu is unique and delicious.)
  Choosing your own elements for your antipasta course is a delightful beginning.
  The wine list is small, interesting and reasonably priced with wonderful Italian selections.
  The service, overseen by Jim's wife Anna, is relaxed and friendly; the space pleasing and comfortable.
  There is also outside dining which we love on the right day or night.
  Take a "Night in Naples" on Birmingham's Southside!!!

  Bettola has a great wine selection. The servers are very knowledgeable about the wine list and menu selections. I love the setting, and the food is fantastic. It is a great location for just a glass of wine and some appetizers at the chef's counter. Very authentic. Always a pleasure.
