i am new to cullman and this is one of the first places i have dined out at. The food was seasoned well and cooked to order. It was brought out piping hot, and our server was very professional. i will definitely dine there again and bring more friends.
This place is definitely highly recommended!!

i went ordered the steak dinner and it was so covered in peppers and onions.the cashier said the waitress was suppose to of ask me if i wanted this on my steak. she did not and it just ruined the dinner. it also happened to the other couple with us. some people do not like alot of peppers it ruined the taste. the peppers tasted very greasey.

I just received my call in order from the Baxter's steakhouse at 6092 Al Hwy 157 Cullman, Alabama 35058 256-739-9899
I ordered 1 country fried steak with baked potatoes and corn
the other order was a country fried steak with rice and potatoes O'Brien
got the order home it was all wrong the one order that had the rice and potatoes O'Brien was not in the Togo platter
and one piece of corn and gravy missing from the other platter
called the store back and the manager wanted to know what all I was missing asked me three times with disgust in his voice was very rude and discourteous I live 22 miles from this store and was not going to go all the way back there and receive just the items I was missing or accept a refund on my credit card for just the items missing I asked him if he could just refund my card the whole amount he told me "no way that was going to happen" when he said exactly that phrase to me I asked him who was the district manager of the place that I could get in touch with he told me he was the district manager I asked him was he not the manager that I wanted contact info for the district manager and he told me again that he was the district manager so I asked for contact info for the owner of the food establishment and he told me he was the owner he would not give me any contact info at all for my dispute I asked the Gentleman Thursday February 9th 7:00 P.M. what was he going to do about my order and he said he would refund the one platter to my credit card but there was no way that he would refund the whole order he said that was just not going to happen
after hanging up the phone with him I started to eat my baked potatoe and it was brown and that is time temp abuse from being held to long and bothchulism is involved with baked potatoes I wanted to call him back and tell him that he needs to check his potatoes and throw them out but am not going to deal with this man again
I can not believe the arguing I got from this man and he is suppose to be a guest service representative
I just wanted you to know I used to eat allot at this establishment but I will never return to the Restaurant due to the hassle and rudeness I received from the manager over the phone I will eat at the cracker barrel across the street
I will never frequent this Restaurant or other Baxter's steak house ever ever again
