Most of the food is really great, they pay attention to details, and the portions are good. They offer a full-service bar and a bartendar that knows how to make a good drink. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun, they can handle a large or small party without crowding other folks and most of the staff treat you like you are the most important person there.
They serve American and Mexican fare and both are very good which appeals to more people.
The restaurant will probably surpass your expectations more because of their location than their name.
The best part is that their prices are still fairly reasonable for what you get.
Yes, we will return as we have for years. There are other fine Mexican restaurants in this city, but La Mex stands tall above most of the rest of them with their family atmosphere and yet you can go there for a buisness meeting or have a party. It is worth the drive!
