Friday at 6PM. Nice ambiance. Greeted quickly at 6PM by a kind older Italian gentleman. Menu was filled with great entrees. Had the Manicotti Bella Vita - COLD, too much cheese and the manicotti shell was HARD on the edges (meaning- it SAT too long - somewhere!)My 90 year old grandfather had the Eggplant Rontanini (sp?)...salty, piping hot (that's good) but WAY too much cheese. Sauce was good on both though...very nice tomato flavor. Meal came quickly but the place was PACKED by 6:15 and the waitress never came back until we had to ask for her. Took TWENTY minutes to clear our plates and offer us dessert. This is the joke...espresso was 1/2 filled in the espresso cups...TERRIBLE portion and flavor BUT cannoli was delish. Advice bella??? Take care and follow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Our Favorite Restaurant

Bella Vita is even better than ever in its new location. We've been fans since we found their first pizza place in Longwood and were thrilled when they first opened a restaurant in DeBary. But the new location is even better, a unique atmosphere that's casual and chic at the same time (remember Rob from last year's Design Star? It's one of his designs). Same great owners, same terrific food, many of the same friendly staff and the same loyal customers we've gotten to know over the past few years. We feel just as comfortable taking our out-of-town visitors there for a special dinner as we do just stopping in for pizza on a Friday night. It doesn't hurt that they're just a mile from our house, but we'd drive almost any distance for their lobster ravioli. For us, it's kind of like the Cheers of Italian restaurants - it's where everyone knows your name!

Every time you go to Bella Vita you're gonna get nothing but the best Italian food. Family operated and just great people. We've been going there for 3 years since they opened at heir first location and the new restaurant looks even better. Great job guys, keep up what you're doing.
