Can't get enough written by TRAVELINGFOODIE

Warm, fresh chips with salsa delivered as you are seated are included in every meal. The menu is vast and I have tried many entree's. The carnitas are a particular favorite. The seasoning is tasty with out being overwhelming and the meat is super tender. The portions on the pork are large. I am such a fan of the re-fried beans I wish they gave you more. Service is fast and I usually have to ask for a re-fill on the drink. Nice atmosphere with good acoustics. Can be chilly in the front dining area when it is cold outside.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! written by betty999

I love this restaurant. As far as service is concerned you will not find better service anywhere. The food is great, and the prices are low. I go here at least a couple times a month, and have never been dissapointed! The chips and salsa are good. If you are in a rush, you ca be in and out in 20 minutes if you want.

Great Food! written by muzikandwine

Delicious food. It's served fast and piping hot when you get it too. The complimentary chips and salsa are wonderful. Cheap Mexican beers served in a frosty glass.

My only gripe: Didn't really care for the margaritas much. I think they are the pre-mixed ones; couldn't taste any tequlia.

Surprised and delighted written by julia

We really enjoyed our meal. I had the pollo asado, grilled chicken in a delicious sauce, quac, pico and rice. It was all great. My husband had beef enchiladas; ground beef instead of pulled beef but that was ok. The flan was rico.

Overall a great meal.I hope to go again.

I love this place!
Their food is great.
The service is quick.
The ambience is nice.
This would be a great bet for a business lunch, or if you're pressed for time but want a nice sit down menu.
I dont know anyone who doesn't love this restaurant.
The staff treats you nicely and that means a lot when you've got a full house during lunch rush.

Great food & service written by Victoria

What can I say that hasn't already been said. The Hacienda los Amigos is an attractive, clean, bright restaurant with wonderful athentic food and even better service. I would have to agree that the service can at times be too quick when dining with someone you want to spend time with but on the other hand when you desire good food and still have time to make your movie or game it's the only place to go. The Hacienda los Amigos always comes to mind when I'm thinking of dining out. Please don't change a thing.

Always Yummy! written by azraelle

Hacienda los Amigos is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Lansing. The food and service is always excellent, which says a lot because we go there rather often. My only complaint is that sometimes their service is a bit too speedy and you have your food just a few minutes after placing your order. Maybe I'm weird, but I like to have more time to relax and enjoy the dining out experience.

Anyway, as I said, the food is always good. It's hot and fresh, and we've never been disappointed. I especially love the complimentary warm chips and salsa.

Not at all Authentic written by need2eat

The place was clean and looks nice from the outside looked promising. The inside had a good atmosphere there was a fair amount of people still looked promising. I ordered the Tampiqueño plate, others had Camarones endiablados and Fajitas. This had to be the one of the worst meals at a so called AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant I have had. My Tampiqueño cut meat was actually a T bone steak wich is not a traditional Mexican Tampiqueño cut. The sauce tasted like freshly dumped out of a can and not freshly made. To be fair the rice was not bad. The tortillas were steamed and not heat up a traditional way. Every one else complained about there food except for the fajitas since that is not traditional mexican cousine.

The good thing was I was given a gift certificate and did not pay for the meal. I have not been back and probably would not return even if given another gift cerficate.

You definatly have to travel to Detroit or Chicago for a traditional Mexican meal.
