    Actually Chinese Food

Great food here, East Lansing's best (perhaps only?) Chinese restaurant that I have tried. Myself being an American of European descent, the wait staff have sometimes tried to steer me toward "more popular" dishes. But, when I make it understood that I want to try new things, and won't send food back just because I may not like it they are glad to serve anything on the menu. I don't really care for Americanized "Chinese" food, so I don't order that stuff myself. I would steer others away from these dishes, especially at Peking Express. A friend got the sesame chicken once and it was pretty terrible. Tasted like KC Masterpiece.

This restaurant has excellent and authentic Chinese food. Not a big fan of their fried dumplings, however their main dishes are wonderful. The pepper beef and garlic chicken are very tasty. I have not had the pleasure of dining in, but the clientel seem to be the type that enjoy authentic dishes (much like myself), so it is always a good sign.

That's all that seems to go into peking express's chow mien and the kong pao shrimp that we had.

Coming from Singapore, we know our Chinese food - and this is a poor excuse for it.

We were really looking forward to this sunday night meal. Won't be calling them again.
