Restaurant Reviews of Ginos North Pizzeria
Last of a Dying Breed written by

Gino's North is an absolute treasure. I stop in at least once, usually twice each week. Their pizza is Edgewater's best. And I adore the low-key, art deco atmosphere. Plus, the staff & regulars watch the best TV shows. This is one of Chicago's best kept secrets . . . one of the last of a dying breed of neighborhood "joints." And the prices are unbeatable. If you didn't know better, you'd swear that owner/bartender George (of the female persuasion) and cook extraordinaire, Peggy, have been working there for the last 50 years. They know their business. Not to be missed.
