I decided to try this restaurant based on the other reviewers. So far I've eaten there twice and I think this place will quickly become my new favorite Chinese restaurant. I recently tried the Kung Pao chicken and as another reviewer said I liked that the food labeled spicy really was spicy and the chicken was nice and tender.

So far I've just gotten carry out here but just from that I think the service and food quality are good and the prices are reasonable.

I stumbled on this restaurant while moving to my new house in South Lansing. I'm usually VERY wary of unknown Chinese Restaurants. This one, however, is a gem. I order my food "extra spicy" and for once, it's spicy enough!!! The vegetarian entrees are WODNERFUL and plentiful. My stomach is growling just thinking about their "Green Jade"!

My wife and I have been going to New China for 6 or 7 years and have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly. We have tried probably 50% of the items on the menu and all have been delicious. You can also just tell your server what you like, i.e. spicy or not spicy, brown sauce or white, veggies or meat, and they will create something fantastic. Also, the lunch combos cannot be beat. You get soup, egg roll or crab rangoon, plus a large main course with your choice of rice. Lunch there then a matinee at Celebration Cinema makes for a pleasant and inexpensive outing.

We've tried probably 50% of the items on the menu and all have been delicious. You can also just tell your server what you like, i.e. spicy, not spicy, veggies, brown sauce or white, and they will just make you something great. Also, for lunch, the specials cannot be beat. You get soup, egg roll or crab rangoon, as well as a huge portion of your main dish choice for an unbelievable price.
