Chicago Pizza Pies written by

This is part of a larger chain, and very similar to the other Giordano's I've been to. Giordano's serves several different types of pizza, but we only ever get the famous stuffed pizza. I now understand why people call it pizza pie, because it has a buttery crust and a "filling" of cheese and sauce, more resembling a pie than the pizza I grew up with in New Jersey. Service has been sketchy at this location, often neglectful to the point of having to track down a waitress to get a soda or coffee refill. They are at least courteous, if a little slow. The pizza takes a long time to cook, so be prepared for a long night.
