This place closed down earlier this year. There is another Asian/Chinese restaurant in its place, but I have not tried it yet.
This has got to be the worst Chinese buffet in town. There was little variety, most of the dishes seemed to have been sitting there for some time, and the taste of almost all the dishes we tried were bland. There is not much of an ambiance to speak of. The only positive aspect was that the service was good. However, I wouldn't go back again.
This place was horrible. I thought it would be like charlie kangs downtown EL, but no such thing. I'm not a big fan of buffets, but this buffet must have been one of the worst I've ever been too. Little varietry, lot's of dried up stuff, in all just a bad experience. Wouldn't reccommend it.
We ate here expecting to get the same quality Korean dishes as in Charlie Kangs in East Lansing.
To call this Charlie Kangs is false advertising -- it's been owned by a Chinese businessman for the last 3 years.
The BiBimBap was disgusting, including a hardened yellow egg, lettuce, too much rice, and a disgusting bean sauce. (In contrast to the delicious dish sold in East Lansing).
Worse, 2 days after eating here we experienced the symptoms of food poisoning.
Those expecting the same quality food as Charlie Kangs in East Lansing should be warned: Go there instead!
This place changed ownership a couple years back, and boy has it improved. They not only have cleaned it up inside (it won't win any awards for interesting decour, but it's clean and atractive enough), but the food is excellent. They have the best Kung Pao Chicken in town.
The buffet is kept fresh, and you have a wide choice of foods. Or, you can order whatever you want off a menu.
All in all, a great chinese food option in Lansing!
Great food, more the reasonable prices, fantastic variety!!! Even has a make your own dish grill!!!
