  With all the franchise restaurants in East Lansing, it's wonderful to have a unique restaurant to choose from. The State Room provides upscale dining close to home -- without having to drive all the way to Ann Arbor. The State Room provides interesting options, perfect portions, and the dishes are cooked to perfection.

  The State Room continues to improve every year. While it has been several months since I had dinner, I frequently have breakfast or lunch business meetings there. The atmosphere of the State Room is comfortable and feels upscale. The addition of wine tasting (or "flights") was a major improvement, and the menu is always interesting and exciting.

  The State Room may be the best restaurant in East Lansing. The food is superb, the chefs creative, and the waitstaff attentive. The wines available are excellent -- with beef we had a Cafaro cabernet that was wonderful. All in all, an excellent experience.
