We all placed our order, and was brought a basket of bread, which had mold on it. The waitress replaced it, but then there was another problem. We all received our meals, except my wife, who was then informed what she ordered wasn't available and she would need to order something else. They shouldn't have waited until we all had our meals to inform her she had to order somthing else. Friends and family have told me of other problems they have had with the manager, and how rude he was, so I know at least 5 families who will not be returning after having been regular customers thru the years.

I've been a regular customer of Sunrise since the very beginning when it was a great place to eat, but not any more. This time our order was wrong, and after it was finally made right, the manager came by to tell us how we complain every time we come. A charming fellow indeed! He somehow thought he had given us a free meal, but didn't seem to understand the free meal was the one that we didn't ask for. Service and portions are also not what they used to be. Bread and other things needed to be asked for. The meal I ordered came with dessert, but they refused to honor that. A terrible experience - my wife and children were horrified at the way we were treated. I've never met a restaurant manager as rude as this one!

Fast service, friendly wait-staff and the best Swedish Pancakes in the state of Illinos.
