  Shalom Deli is a great "mom and pop" deli with friendly service and great food! My favorite was their homemade egg salad sandwich! The owner, Sam is a funny guy to talk to while he uses his magic to create an amazing sandwich the way you like it! I was hesitant at first because I thought it was a kosher restaurant, but it is NOT! Sam comes up with great menus with his special touch; you can even buy homemade sushi there! But don't take it from me, go downtown to the loop to see for yourselves! And tell Sam his number 1 customer sent you!
