I attempted to make a reservation for a group of 15+ people and the manager was unwilling to work with us. She would not let us all be seated and place our order from the table with one waitress/waiter (she claims they do not have the manpower - ????). She wanted that large group to order their food from the counter - which is not very time-efficient with such a large party - or have everyone place their order 1 or 2 days before, but not on the day of. I told her that was too much to ask people to decide what they were going to eat a day or two in advance - not fair! What is wrong with this place? Do they even know how to run a restaurant and accommodate customers? She was gruff and unpleasant on the phone and we decided not to give her our business. We are going to Zia's in Edison Park instead - they were willing to work with us and their food and service is superb...worth the hike from our office building. If you don't care about friendly service and a nice dining environment, then this is the place for you! It's such a shame too, because their food can be great. I suggest take-out if you really have to have it. how much business do you lose for this nice little place?????
