I can count one one hand, the truly memorable eating experiences I have had. This was #1! Four of us dined at Norton's on a Friday evening. The atmosphere in the screened in dining area is almost magical. Two of us ordered the Ribeye with corn pudding and it was truly the best meal I have ever had. The meat was done to perfection with a glaze that you have to experience. The other two ordered the tenderloin with goat cheese that was wonderful. This restaurant has our highest recommendation and we will return soon (already have reservations)!

You only have to go to Norton's once to get on the "A-list". Owners Richie and Jeff will make you feel right at home and always show appreciation for your patronage. In addition, the menu offers a variety from burgers to tilapia baked to perfection in parchment with veggies ( my personal favorite). Don't pass up Norton's for an affordable great night out in Highland Park!!

Terrific neighborhood tavern written by averycohen

Great tavern atmosphere, and the owners go out of their way to get to know the customers. The salads are outstanding as are the burgers.

Kids love the place too.
