Everything about eating there is memorable. Over the years of going there the poorboys have not changed. Everytime our family comes from Phoenix, they fly home with a "To Go" order. There is nothing in this world to compare them to.."To die for" !! Service is also great..kudo's to all !

I had the best poorboy ever at Merichka's restaurant in Crest Hill, IL. I also dined on their onion rings as an appetizer and man were they delicious. I had a double-baked potato to accomodate my sandwich and that was an excellent choice as well. You could tell alot of time and effort went into making the double-bakes and the onion rings were homemade as well. I cannot get over the poorboy, what an amazing sandwich. Next time I stop in Ill be sure to try one of their steaks!
