I had Eduardo's deliver 100 empanadas to my daughter's wedding reception. Everyone enjoyed them and they made my daughter's Filipino in-laws feel welcome.
The Kabobs are great, also the lechon kawale. Excellent customer service. I would recommend it for any occassion. my wife is Hoosier and has never have filipino food. Eduardo's gave her the oppurtunity to savor the taste without flying half way around the globe. My wife and her side of the family now loves filipino food.
My son's first birthday party was a hit thanks to the people at Eduardo's. My husband is Filipino and we really wanted to have authentic food at the party, but we couldn't make it all ourselves. We went and sampled the food first - it was hard to find and there wasn't a lot of Filipino offerings on the weekday that we visited (the main fare is Charlie Biggs Chicken) but it was enough to convince us that the food was authentic! For people who are unfamiliar with Filipino food I would recommend lumpia (like little eggrolls) and pork kabobs. And the chicken was great too. This is the only Filipino place in Indy to my knowledge and I'm glad we found it!

This is on the north side of Raymond, between Keystone and Churchman. Look for the Burger King, and it's in between Burger King and Keystone Ave.
The signs say "Charlie Biggs", but there is an "Eduardo's" sign in plain text on the front door.
It pretty much looks like an inner-city fried chicken joint, but it is very clean, including the unisex bathroom. The staples or main offerings are fried chicken and fried fish, but... the big "secret" is their Filipino cuisine.
Feb 23rd, 2007, I had a fried-chicken (american style) combo dinner, with deep fried potato wedges and a cole-slaw side, and it was excellent for a fried-chicken place; crisp on the outside, and tender and juicy, cooked-just-right, on the inside.
Feb 22nd, 2007, I had a sample platter of the "menudo" (which is not at all like Mexican or Hispanic menudo, and some "adobo", served over white rice. EXCELLENT! Both of those are pork dishes, I was told. I then had some "Lumpia" small Filipino egg rolls, stuffed with pork. That, and the barbecued pork-on-a-stick are about all the Filipino food they serve during the week.
The lady said they have more Filipino cuisine on the weekends.
Eduardo's is the main caterer for the Filipino Association (Barangay club) booth at the International Festival. So if you like their food there, you ought to like it at Eduardo's on the weekends.
Feb 23rd, they were serving more Filipino cuisine than the adobo/menudo, but it was a special order for a group of Filipinos celebrating someone's birthday. So apparently if you have a group of 7 or more, and arrange with them in advance, they can cater it for dine-in or take out. Otherwise, wait for the weekend. Our group sat next to the birthday group, and we were constantly stealing glances, envying their food.
In the winter, the dining area gets chilly when the exhaust fans are running in the kitchen, and it pulls in the cold air. So dress warmly if you eat in during cold weather.
The dining area consists of four tables-for-4, and a counter which seats 3 people. Both nights there was a steady stream of take-out customers for the chicken. Though that Friday there was one caucasian gentleman who also asked for the Filipino cuisine for take-out.
I think this family is doing it right: Their bread-and-butter business is what the working-class neighborhood wants, fried chicken and fish, which pays the bills. But what they love, and enjoy sharing is the Filipino cuisine. (The party of seven tonight celebrating someone's birthday were professional folks who obviously had connections to the owners.) But there is probably not enough demand for a 100% Filipino restaurant to stay in business.
Over the past few years, I've had Eduardo's Filipino cuisine at several International Festivals in town, and have always enjoyed it. This is the real deal, made by real Filipino cooks. Go during the week if you want a sample, but if you want a full Filipino meal, go on the weekend. And look for the "Charlie Biggs" sign. That's them. And their American style fried chicken is pretty good too.
