I just wanted to let the previous reviewer know that since their review, the ownership has changed and everyone is as pleasant as could be. I go in to Hickory Roasters often and have never been disappointed. I've even had my son's birthday party dinner from there. It was fabulous! If you haven't been in since the new owners took over, make sure you do.

I have eaten here many times as well as my family, we always enjoy it. However, my last visit left me a little upset. It was one of those rare thimes I decided to eat there instead of taking it home and when paying for the food, the gentleman asked if we wanted a drink. I wasn't sure if my companion wanted one one but before I could say to anything to man at the counter, he told we I couldn't have free refills if I only ordered one drink!! Needless to say I should have left then and not gotten the food but I was hungry for my shrimp. I thought this was a tasteless move and made me question about going to Hickory Roaster's again.
