Great food but employee attitude awful written by anonymous

I've eaten at the Feed Store for years. Everytime my sister visits from Chicago this is our first stop. Excellent soup and sandwiches and desserts. However this employee yelled at us for sitting at a table for 4 when there was only 2 of us. We explained to her if they got busy would be happy to move to a table for 2. She yelled 'whatever' and stormed off. This was unprofessional and embarrassing for us. Sorry to see they are closed on Saturdays. Not good for visitors to Abe Lincoln Museum and Library.

Used to be the BEST until their son took over written by sppfun

This use to be the BEST sandwhich/soup place anywhere!
But since the owner's son started running it and fired all the old employees, the food and service are in the tank and it is no longer open on Saturdays. We will really miss the Feed Store, it was a proud tradition in Springfield for decades.
