Worst Restaurant Experience In My Life!!!!
While at Austins hair was found in the food and when I requested to speak with the manager I was informed their was no manager and that I need not even ask to speak with the owner. The waiter was rude, disrespectful and argumentative when informed that we were displeased that hair was found in the food. After informing us that the meal would not be removed from the bill he stormed off and left us unattended. He then came back slammed the bill on the table and stated that one of the meals would be removed from the bill. In speaking with the owner after leaving the restaurant, his response was "we all have a bad day." This restaurant gets a ZERO in my books, and I will no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

A Good Night
I went there with my family and the food was great. My steak was cooked perfect. My family liked there food. My server was very nice and nice to my kids. She took very good care off us. All of our food came out on time. The restaurant was very clean and nice. This was my second time there and we will be back.

nightmare on high point road
Ive been to Austins in High Point which was great...but never again will I make the mistake of going to the High point road Austins. My Steak was overdone. All I asked was that the manager come out. The server looked terrified. Finally another waiter came out and explained that they couldnt re-cook the steak because that was "Austins Medieum". Trying not to make my familys dining experience terrible..I went to the hostest to ask for the manager....no luck...then the bartender...then I went and stood by the window where the food is cooked..(when I spend $20 on a plate I atleast want a salad for myself)Finally the very rude manager came out and told me that this was a family owned resteraunt and he had no intentions on giving me a hand-out! His tone was very angry...rude and threatening. A medieum steak has pink in it...not brown all through...my dog ate well that night...everyone elses food was great (they shared with me)..I got a card from the resteraunt and not only was this the manager...but OWNER! Needless to say I wont be back...and from the lookes of all the empty tables in the resteraunt and servers just hanging around I dont see this place staying in buisness long.

Never Again
I will never patronize that restaurant again. The food was marginal but the service was horrible. The manager is very difficult to deal with. He LOCKED the doors to the resaturant and called the POLICE because we were disputing the bill (he charged us for food that he had agreed previously agreed to to take off of our bill so we just wanted him to honor his word). We were NOT trying to leave without paying. One officer said he personally had called to the resaturant TWICE before for the same type of situation in which the manager had locked people in. The food was okay at best but not worth the hassal and time dealing with the management. POOR SERVICE. AWFUL MANAGER.

Great resturant
The food was wonderful and the bar tender was great. The servers were a little inexpierenced but overall pretty good. The lighting was a little to dark in places and a broken window in the rear of the resturant was a little unsightly, but a beautiful resturant none the less. The dining area was very clean and sanitary along with the bar area. I would recommend to all who want wonderful food at a reasonable price.
