Recently my husband was told told that he was Diabetic. We went to Coyote Canyon before and it was fine, but not when we had to watch what we ate. Now, that he has to watch everything, we thought we would go there to eat. We were very disapointed in the selection of food that he could have. We had been to Ryan before that and their food is marked no sugar added and etc. At your restaurant there was nothing. Maybe you have changed since we were there,this was Dec. 10 05. Well, as we were leaving he told the lady at the desk that we were disapointed on the foods and that he couldn't even have desert. The guy that was cooking the meat heard us and told us that all we have to do is to ask the person behind the counter for deserts that have no sugar. They were in back and that they have a lot of them. Well, he was even more disapointed to the fact that there was noone behind the counter to ask and that there are so many people that are watching their weight or are or Diabetic that the food should be out on the counter to choose from, not to ask someone. If he didn't say something when we left we never would have known, and that it was too late then anyway. There wasn't even a sigh to ask. We may never go back again. I am sure that there have been a lot of people who were disapointed aswell and that should never happen. If you would like to talk to my husband call 815-265-7768 He would be happy to tell you more. Coyote Canyon has the best buffet I have ever been I love their food. Everyone should eat there at least once.
