I have had the good fortune to have had the opportunity to make several visits to the Jimani, and on each occassion took the opportunity to try the food. The first time I visited late at night and had the burger and fries and would recommend this combination as among the best available in the French Quarter late at night. On a subsequent, I asked the stunningly attractive bartender what she would eat were she ordering food. She recommeded the Chicken Club with garlic mayonnaise and I have to agree with her this was a wise choice. It was tastier than the burger and definetely healthier and was very good. The value is outstanding. Considering the hour there aren't many places in the quarter that can compete. As for the service, the bartender was extraordinary. Talented, beautiful, friendly, and intelligent - her prescence alone make future trips part of my reason for living. I recommend a visit there to anyone in New Orleans looking for a cozy, neighborhood experience. This says alot considering it is only a few short blocks from the madness and insanity of Bourbon Street. A side trip to The Jimani is highly recommended.
