When my son got a student Visa debit card, one of the first things he purchased was a dinner for his girlfriend and himself at Paradise. It appears they tried to run the card three times, but it only took it once since he did not have enough balance to cover more than one of the charges. Then, the charge sat there for over a week and expired, then thery finally they got around to processing it over a month later before his account was finally debited.
Last night he purchased another meal and they ran the debit card three times again, and this time he _did_ have enough to cover the three debits, so there are three pending debits against his card bringing his balance to near zero so he cannot use it again until two of them expire. Hopefully they will not try to actually debit his account three times. I will be calling them to complain, needless to say.
Apparently our server did not like the tip I gave her because she added an extra dollar to my bill. This is stealing and illegal and wrong.
Our waitress was not only sweet but funny too! She made sure we had everything we needed. Great place to hang out! Ask for Kaitlin K.
For the most part the food and service is wonderful but, there is a very rude waitress behind the bar. I would not return.
took toooo long for drinks & food
appetizer came out 1 minute before
entrees (cheese dip!) without napkins & untensils; advacado dressing was rotten
We have been there at least 30 times and have never experienced bad service. Food and service have been great but I guess anyone could have an off night.
Took the kids to the south side and they loved the Fajitas coming out sizzeling. Multiple people came to the table and spoke to the kids like they were people. The kids ate cheese dip. The server suggested sharing the Fajitas. Giant portions. Very affordable if you share. The couple next to us were sharing the Piallea that was a monster dish, family serving size.

I kid you not. The wait staff at this place is smoking hot. The management is friendly, actually comes by and checks on you, shakes your hand, introduces himself and hand delivers the food. I had the Shrimp fajitas. They were awesome.
Great place to take a date or the fam.

basically a dive - no atmosphere with only the most modicum of service - food was absolutely terrible and cold to boot - strongly advise against anyone choosing this place to dine - you'd be better served at taco bell.
Ate at Paradise South of the Border today and it was great.
The food was awesome and the service was exceptional...Kudo's to your fine restaurant...We will be back...Thanks

Ate there last night. Nice to see some of the waiters from the old restaurant. Margarita and salsa were great. Food wasn't so great and prices are pretty high for a mexican restaurant.
Hope they do expand their menu as another reviewer indicated - it is pretty limited.

Awful, Went to the Paradise south and the server and managers were so unfriendly that we will not come back. good customer service is what pays your bills and unfortunately for your establishment you have lost the return of about 25 people. I'm a prominent attorney in the area and know a lot of people. I promise that I will not recommend your new restaurant as a friendly nice place to go.

Just went to the the new Paradise South of the Border. (owned and operated by Paradise Grille next door). Have been waiting anxiously for this to open. We love Paradise Grille, great food, friendly service, atmosphere that is appealing to our entire family. South of the Border is cool, modern atmosphere is refreshing and hip. You will feel like you are in a Tiki Hut on an island. The menu is consice right now and they are adding dishes based on customer feedback! What a great way to build yet another successful neighborhood place. Good luck!

sad to see this once great neighborhood restaurant become so ordinary. The college and high school kids used to like to work there, but new managers are driving them away. Will be interesting to see if the Paradise South of the Border is good. Wish they would focus on being the neighborhood place they used to be.
Paradise Grille is a family favorite of ours and has been for a long time. The service is great in the restaurant or bar (Jason is the best). Restaurant is a very kid-friendly place and all the people leaving bad reviews because of THAt are just old grumps. Food is AWESOME, especially for the prices! Drinks are always great, cheap beer on draft and they have specials daily. We come here with the whole family, kids, in-laws for a quick dinner, or sit in the closed-off bar area if it's just my husband and I. I think my husband will be seeking a new home solely to remain close to Paradise, lol.
P.S. Can't wait for Paradise South of the Border to open next door!!!!

Got there and put name in to be called at about 8:30 p.m. I saw two or three open tables that needed busing. Table of four came in after I did (party of two) and were seated first. We left. Will not return. Use to be decent but has gone down recently. The owner, Jeff, is not as involved anymore, so the service has declined. Too bad it is going down hill, Jeff is a nice guy and hard worker, but the workers don't seem to care. Time for a shake up in personnel.
All the food is good for the most part, but the fish sandwich is unbelievable. Just like the grouper sandwich you get in Florida. If you go, do yourself a favor and order the fish sandwich or platter. You can get it fried, grilled, or blackened. Servers are young and perky and eager to please.
I've been to the Paradise Grill several times with friends and family. Although their house margaritas could be better, the servers have always attempted to make us happy. Food is very good, and the fried shrimp is better than on the coast! If you're looking for a quiet, elegant hangout, this ain't it. It IS the place for variety, friends, conversation, trivia, appetizers and good food at fair prices! I really like the place, and hope you will, too.
We love it here, our favorite restaurant actually!!
My boys, 4 and 5, always say "let's go to Paradise Grille tonight!!!" when asking where they want to eat! Service is great, food is AWESOME. Keep up the good work and awesome food. We will continue to give you business!
Thanks!
Went to this bar and grill because we were told the food was decent. What we didnt know was that all of east cobbs football and baseball high school teams also decided to eat there and I'm told quite frequently. I guess if you have a high school teenager this place might be great but the food was awful, the service was terrible and it was just choas

Service was very slow at bar and also when we were seated. Servers acted stuck up. When our food finally came it was too cold and tasted spoiled. When we complained, Manager seemed not to care. Long time to get food and drinks. Bathrooms were extremely dirty. We will not return.
The food is delicous, just last night I had the prime and chedder. It was to die for. I also love the closeness to my school. It makes it easy to get from my school to go get a good tasty bite. The service is also great with kind people that are always running around and helping out.
Me and friends frequent there for food and drinks. The drinks are priced alright and the food is pretty good. It seems at night though that the servers and bar tenders have anything better to do except wait on you. At times some of my friends have complained that the girl are stuck-up.
The food at paradise grill is the best. And the service is good too. But most of all it's the atmosphere it is a great place to take a lot of kids and nobody minds the fact that they are all running around like crazy. We eat there at least once a week.
The service was wonderful, but the best thing there is the chicken chili. I love it! Where can I get the recipe? Paradise Grill has a great location. The menu is just the right size. The kid meals are the perfect size for hungry kids. All the food is served fresh and hot. We will definitely return.
