Took my girlfriend there and had a wonderful night. The hot sauce is very good but very hot! The seafood is perfect for a romantic night. We had the ceviche mixto. that is the stuff! it has a nice lime taste, not tomatoes like in other places. It is a great deal and very romantic at night.

The group Charlar Chicago was there recently, we other several plates amoung them the very well known tamales. humitas, lomo saltado, shrimp stew... hmmmmmm boy we had a blast!!!! so mush food and great service (that is what i am talking about!), someone told us about the INCA kOLA (A very traditional soda)that has a bubble gum taste.... we were very happy enjoying a good group company as well as a very well done place, service was quick (we were 30 people)and waiters were in our tables at all time filling up our glasses with water and providing clean dishes right away (we had a lot of food on the table). Thank you Ay Ay Picante for a wonderful night to remember!!

I had thought that Rinconcito Sudamericano was the best Peruvian restaurant in town but it turns out this one is MUCH better. I was delighted with my Aji de Gallina. I sampled my wife's Seco de Cordero and that was wonderful. A friend there had Tallarin Saltado and it was excellent. So all in all it was a really wonderful surprise.

It is a great place to eat, but the food is from Peru, not Mexico.
