Because they are deserved! I'm not sure how they can stay in business with the rude service. I've never seen anything like it and my children were exposed to language by the owner (at another customer) that I shield them from - or try to. I'm guessing at the day I went, somtime around that time but honestly, I don't want to remember it. It still disturbs me and I thought I'd see if anyone else had that experience. Seems plenty of people do. Worst ratings in all of Springfield on multiple sites and all well earned I'm sure.

Good food, terrible hostess written by toddler

Whoever the hostess was on the night we ate at Amber Jack's needs to find a new line of work. This woman was rude from the moment we walked in the door. Loud, ill-mannered and condescending, she let us know that SHE ran the show there and we had better not mess with her.If we didn't like it, we could go eat somewhere else. I will never set foot in there again and plan to tell all my friends to avoid this place also.

My husband and I went to this restaurant just to try it. The parking lot was full which I thought probably meant that we had chosen well. Boy, was I wrong!!!! We finally got a table after a long wait and a snippy hostess. Then, our waitress seemed to have never waitressed before. I didn't get what I ordered. 20 minutes later, she came back to check on us and I told her of this error. She put in the correct order which took forever to get and when I cut into it, my chicken was extremely undercooked. All they offered was a free dessert which tasted like they had it sitting around for a week. My husband and I were very disappointed which is saying something. We are very easily pleased usually.

Great place for steaks and catfish written by mctatro

This is a great place to eat. Their steaks are wonderful and the catfish is the best in town. I've also had their salads. Great Stuff! The waistaff is friendly and attentive. If you have a bad time there, you had to come in the door in a bad mood.

This resteraunt took 55 min to serve my food for 4 adults and 2 children. when complained to the OWNER she felt it was acceptable. then stated we should have went to mcdonalds if we wanted faster service cause they put their food under warmers. also when we stated we could have had faster service at cracker barrel she was surprise and stated that they cook all their food in microwaves. don't go here you will regret it
