My husband and I stopped for a quick bite on a Sunday night. We were sitted very quickly. My husband had the chicken fajitas and I had a large bowl of their spanish style chicken soup. Both were good but nothing out of the ordinary. More like your average everyday mexican food and diner. The ony drawback is that there is no non-smoking area and poor ventilation. For this reason I don't recommend you take your children.
If you really love authentic Mexican dining look no further than Elgin's own Aculpulco. Conveniently located near Il RT 25 and Summit, Aculpulco is near Elgin's Metra and Bus depots. Choose your favorites from the extensive menu but don't leave without trying the Quesadillas!
