My wife and I go here often because of the nice setting, it's calm and relaxed. The staff is friendly and are attentive to your needs. The sushi is great, the presentation is good, and they have lots of other things on the menu for your friends that dont' like sushi. I reccomend the Steak Teriyaki.
The food is very good. Nice selection of rolls. Sushi is reasonably priced compared to other local sushi restaurants. There is a handful of servers. The older of the servers is very poor and not responsive. The other server is fine. If you go here, be sure you have plenty of time.
Nice people, great food not too expensive. Haven't found anything near by that beats it. If you live in the area or are visiting Fox Valley mall this is the place to go. Great selection from the menu and pretty good service. I usually get carry out and if you call ahead it is always waiting. Eat sushi downtown a lot and the prices don't even compare. More bang for your buck.
Momoya Japanese Restaurant is out in the boonies in between East Aurora and West Aurora on New York Street. We found it totally by accident several months ago, and have been eating there fairly regularly since. The service could be a little nicer, but the sushi is excellent, especially considering the location. They make a great tempura calamari roll appetizer that is exceptionally well presented, and also really darn tasty.
We're going back tonight.
Food and service are very good. Reasonably priced food with good combinations if you don't know what to order. Classy, but not overly trendy.
