My experience with Ichiban Sushi has been amazing. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. They sure are the cleanest when it comes to taste and presentation. I've been to every sushi place in town, and to tell you the truth, if you ever want to do authentic sushi Ichiban is the way to go. Hands down, if you're a food critic I think you will agree with me when I say Ichiban is the best.

The best part about this place is the location for east side sushi. Its mediocre at best. The fish wasn't the freshest I've had here in town and the plating... Sushi is supposed to be pretty folks. I had the blandest looking plates. It felt like fast food quality without fast service.

Service was great. I was greated when I walked in. Relaxed atmosphere. I dined by myself at the sushi bar, but was treated very well.My sushi came within minutes of ordering. Fabulous sushi and rolls. Very clean and tidy. Very impressed and so happy that there is sushi on the East Side of Bakersfield!!!!!

I love the house specialty rolls. Ichiban has a large selection of sushi, rolls, and specialty items. When you walk in the door you are greeted by everyone with a japanese spoken welcome. The food is great, service is fast, and the restaurant is clean. I recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for the best Sushi in Bakersfield!

I've been looking for a great japanese restaurant and I found it. This place is fantastic. I have tried almost everything on the menu and every time I go back I try something new. The staff is friendly and even when it's busy, they make sure you have what you need. I try to go there every week and they treat us like we are family...

I have been to a lot of restaurants here in Bakersfield and Ichiban on Oswell is my new favorite here for a nice lucnh or dinner. It the closest thing to wonderful other than heading to San Francisco or LA! The Love Boat was a great choice on a day when I couldn't decide what I wanted more.
