Restaurant Reviews
Good For The Price written by

As OCBs go, this is the best one around the Chicago area. The dishes are always fresh and plentiful on the buffet. The shrimp casseroles, in particular, are very good at this location while they are often dry elsewhere. The only huge concern would be that turkey night is often short on turkey. One time I heard, "It's not ready yet," from the carver guy, and it was already 4:45 - 75 minutes after the dinner price has been charged to customers. Another time, "Had to send it back because it wasn't done" was heard well after 4:00. Another time, "We're out - No more" was heard around 5:30." And when they do have it available, it's cut quite thin. To turkey-lovers, this needs to improve. Overall, however, as low-cost buffets go, this OCB restaurant is quite good.
