Everyone who has tried their pizza knows how good it is,but you're really missing the boat if you like ribs and haven't had them from Mama Vera's. I discovered them while they were a vendor at the Livonia Spree a few years back. Their catering menu is awesome and an easy way to have delicious hot food for any party, plus they deliver! By the way, very nice owners too.

Food is not so bad, but service is terrible. After being 1hr late, my large order came to my house nearly cold. I order $54 worth of food, which they seemed to miss my calzone that I also asked for. When I called to state that I had not received the calzone, they state, "Well we didnt chrg you for it and you would have to pay for it and a delivery fee since it was under $10". I was disgusted that they didn't care enough to keep me as a customer to just waive the delivery fee since I did ask for it in the beginning, despite the fact my food was delivered cold. I use to order from them at least 3x a week, each order ranging from $27 to $60. What a lost for them.

Mama is da best pizza in Livonia. They have good beadsticks,chicken,hamburgers,subs and calzones. They are primarly carry out, but you can dine in if you wish. I love the Vera's Special pizza. It is a perfect blend of olive oil, garlic, and basil on a pepperoni cheese pizza. It is delicious!
