With the freshest ingredients I've found at any restaurant, Pablo's is my fav and I will be going back again and again! Wonderful selection of meat-free items.

A few friends and I stopped by Pablo's Panderia this past week for dinner. There were a few active tables when we arrived and one waitress on staff. She was very friendly and brought complementary chips and salsa quickly. We asked for a few food recommendations and she happily obliged. After ordering the restaurant filled quickly. She was the sole waitress but kept her friendly demeanor and excellent service. Not only was the service great but also the food! It is not at all costly given the portions and is not as greasy as some other local mexican restaurants. High quality ingredients coupled with excellent service equals a 10/10 restaurant.

Great food - Recently stopped by - some of the best 'true' Mexican food in a long time - we had chilaquiles and breakfast burrito - even the chips and salsa were very good - there used to be several good Mexican places in Lansing - they seem to all have gone toward taco bell - I hope Pablo can resist the dark side

My hubby and I had a rare night out without the kids, so we thought we'd try Pablo's. I had the Mexican tacos with grilled steak, and my hubby had quesadillas, also with steak. The meat on both of ours was a bit overdone. My husband really didn't like the cheese on his quesadilla either, but that was merely a matter of taste, not a questionable quality. Both meals had an overall good flavor. I was a little disappointed that they were out of orchata and tamarind. :(
The waitress we had was very attentive and nice. She brought us out chips and salsa right away and gave us ample time to look over our menus. Also, the restaurant is very cool! I love the murals. The music was appropriate too and added to the ambiance.

Pablo's is on the short list of Lansing restaurants from which I order carry-out on a regular basis. I highly recommend the tacos, which come wrapped in homemade corn tortillas with fresh cilantro and onions as well as homemade salsa and fresh limes on the side. They are absolutely superlative. The flautas are another favorite. The desserts are also a huge treat, especially the flan and the pumpkin empanadas. Another plus is the freshly squeezed orange juice. On top of all that, the staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful, especially Pablo himself. I used to avoid all Mexican restaurants in Lansing because of their fattening, Americanized food and lack of fresh ingredients. No more.

    Best Mexican Food in Lansing

We ordered Pozole & menudo. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was a taste of Mexico. Pablo's brings home cooking straight from Mexico to the table. As a male student from Monterey, Mexico, here at MSU. Pablo's has giving me a place to call home cooking for weekend meals. I wish there was one closer to MSU.
