  Visit often, longest wait for a table was less than a minute. Servers consistently friendly & helpful. always clean. Food prepared and served very fast.

  I really love this place. I went there all spring to study for class, they were very cool about me staying long hours. Quick service, & good food.

  Service was poor at best and the tables/menus were filthy. I should have know I should have wlked out when I saw a lady handling recipts and pulling toast out the toaster without washing. Service was extremly slow despite the fact that there were alot of open tables. My advice find a different place and and read this site before eating at any anchorage establishment. http://dining.ci.anchorage.ak.us/esan/

  I walk in to the diner for breakfast, and waited about 30 minutes to be seated, I look around and plenty of tables available. I wait to be seated only because there is a sign that says "Please wait to be seated." I am finally seated and I order a pancake plate, it was delicious, nice and fluffy, syrup was nice and warm very very good. The service was not so warm, I waited for a second refill of coffee, I ended up having to ask for the refill (shouldn't I have been asked if I wanted the refill?). The atmosphere was very very delicate in a formal way, homey like maybe, but more delicate. The food definately went beyond my taste buds, pancakes out of this world! I would definately return for the pancakes, but not for the poor service. Very good food, very poor service. Somehow maybe it equals itself out.
