Worst Dining Experience!!!!! written by jvershav
Last visited this restaurant on April 22, 2007

I had never dined @ Doc's before & decided to try it out after buying a coupon book through cruse mkt.solutions. My husband, daughter and I ordered 2 beers/water & waitress was presented the coupon. She immediately told us we had to order an entre, which we were planning on doing. Since I was not hungry we ordered a nachos appetizer, 2 entres and hamburger, & I asked the waitress that my order be placed in a to go box because I wanted to take my shrimp/chicken dinner home and only wanted to eat a portion of it inside the restaurant. Immediately the manager Todd Clicknfiz came over & said I could not put my food in a to go box & that I had to use the coupon to eat my food in the restaurant to enjoy the ambience. I mentioned that my order was my order & that I felt I should be able to eat as much of my food, or as little of my food as I wanted. He argued that this was for dine in only. I told him we didn't order a carry out & that we were dining in, as we we sitting there eating our appetizer. Instead of honoring their coupons, which I see from a previous rating the do not, they prefer to harrass you about your food!. I will never go back there, as this was the worse dining experience of my life and frankly quite embarrasing secondary to other patrons listening to this stupid arguement with the manager re: me having to defend how I was going to eat my food. Instead of going to a restaurant & feeling like I was waited on, I came out exhausted after arguing with the manager. We paid for our beers/appetizers and left. Shame on this establishment!!!!

Docks Health Risk written by Cherell
Last visited this restaurant on May 09, 2008

I have a friend who works in the kitchen at Docks. He says that it is the nastiest place he ever worked he says there are roaches in the kitchen and the health risk and unbelievable. I was upset because just last week my son went to Docks and was talking about how nice everything was, however I was told by one of the Chef's who's name I won't mention to protect his job that the kitchen is horrible and he would never tell anyone to dine there. I hope that this doesn't get lost in a pile of unread e-mails for the sake of all of the customer that dines there. Please investigate this issue. I will also contact the health department.

Thank you

Cherell Smith

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DOCS FOR THREE YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD WONDERFUL SERVICE. YES SOMETIMES THEY ARE SLOW BUT THE ARE ALWAYS BUSY AND A FUN ATMOSPHERE ON THE WEEKENDS AND EVEN DURING THE WEEK. BUT THE WAIT STAFF IS ALWAYS LETTING YOU KNOW WHEN YOU FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE. THIS IS A GREAT MEETING PLACE AND A FUN PLACE TO BE ON A FRIDAY NITE. SO MEET UP WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND ENJOY.
DEREK YOUR A GREAT GUY DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT

The word service is not in their dictionary written by junkmails

The wait staff are slow, and unattentive. Way too many mistakes with food orders. The managers are clowns, more interested in playing TV clicker host than people host. And it only gets worse with more people in a party. Make sure to start the evening with a few beers to dull the pain. Plus, you might just forget about any bad experiences in the morning.

Not good, not bad..just OK written by LeeCarmona

When we ate there nothing really jumped out at me. The place is very big with lots of TVs and even on a slow night that means very noisy. I don`t mind when a big game is on but nothing was on.

The food seemed like something I could make at home without a problem..it was just OK.

We had a half off coupon for dinner so it was more acceptable. Had I paid full price would I have been happy? I don`t think so. Would I go back? I don`t think so.

The waitress was very pleasant though.

Good place to watch game written by yamaha700

BAr has a great layout. Many TV's, gameroom, top shelf booze. Been there at 1:00am and not a great bar scene. They do have a dj and bands now which should improve the bar crowd. Wait staff is sub-par (looks) for a bar like this. They need hire some talent (like Kickers).

I have lunch here about once a week. Service is great and the food is very good except for the potato skins. I have been there to watch sporting events on weekends and it has been busy and loud, exactly what I would expect. The service was good even though they were very busy. With over 70 TV's you will always find a place to sit where you can see the event you want to see.

Slow service/loud written by m1111111

We planned on a dinner and a movie that evening. After we dropped off our son at a babysitter we arrived at the restaurant and were hoping to be done within 1 hour. We got there at 540PM. I knew that 655Pm show was too early but 710PM or 720PM would be no problem. We got in and got a table right away. A waitress showed up and took drink orders. (Just water). She was back with it in a few minutes. She left the water at the table and left. We were ready to order but I guess she wasn't ready for that yet. She returned after a few minutes and took the orders. We didn't wait too long for the salad and slaw. After we were done with that the Chicken Marcela and Salmon with veg. arrived. So far a little slow but not too bad. After we were done we just set and waited. Different "waitress" came and asked if we needed anything and we asked for 2 boxes and we wanted to order a dessert. She got us the boxes but wasn't able to take the order so the other waitress came and got the order. Our hot fudge brownie arrived, however just 1 spoon. So again we asked someone for additional spoon. When we were done we got the bill and were ready to pay. I was using a gift cert. The waitress took the gift certificate and said she would be back with change. 5 min later she came to tell us that it would be just another minute as she had to get the change in a gift certificate. We saw her pass by our table 5 min later again ....after waiting over 20 minutes for the gift certificate I saw her again and told her that we must leave NOW. We already missed 655 pm show and the 710pm, now we will miss the 720pm show. The reply was - "oh, he didn't give you the gift certificate. I am sorry, I was wondering why you were still sitting here ...." She went and got the gift cert. The movie theatre is just 2 min away but when we got there at 715pm the 710 and 720 shows were sold out......oh well. I guess we will have to hire a babysitter again - ...
Service is slow and it's very loud. Not because of the TVs it's just the way its designed.
