Yeah the waiter is chatty, but you wont care. I have been going there since I was a little boy (I am 32) and the food is second to none. A cant miss! The pizza is legendary and all the dishes are great as well. It has that true neighborhood feel, a real brooklyn tradition
Art deco storefront with neon signs promoting pizza, steaks and chops. Interior c. 1950s (a guess). Authentic neighborhood italian food without aires. Several booths and tables in front room and "party room" in back typical of old, neighborhood restaurants. Opened in 1930 and run by the same family for at least the last 50 years or so, maybe longer. The waiter-the owner's son-grew up in the business and the neighborhood. He's a little too chatty and familiar, but that's part of the ambience, I suppose.
