I am rather new to the area of Eastpointe and on this day of May 3, 06 My daughter asked for chinese food. Since this is her birthday my husband and myself decided to humor her. I placed the order by phone and spoke to a very nice young lady.She told me it would be and hour and hour passed. A young man came to the door as rude as he could be claiming that we didn't pay our phone bills and if we would keep our phone working he wouldn't have to call and the next time we should just stand by the door and wait for him to show up since we don't keep our phones in working order. I politely said have a nice day and called back to the restuarant to speak to management. When I called the first time being that I was already upset I told the manager that the young man that came to our door was a racist jerk And just as I started to continue he hung up on me. To my surprise! He told me that he refused to listen to what I had to say about one of his employees. I called back. I spoke with a young lady once again and I told her That I needed to report the guy that just delivered our food she gave the phone back to the very
same manager that hung up on me.I expressed to him that my husband is in the military and we have traveled all over the world and I have never been treated like that. He told me that I can't call and talk about his employees like that. So I feel that both the manager and the driver need to be reprimanded for lack of compassion to the patron and devotion to their job. I feel that I deserve and formal apology for both parties being insensitive.
